SR 25 reopens after rockslide clean-up complete

TDOT initiated an emergency contract last Monday, and cleanup began immediately. Paving operations were completed late Tuesday afternoon, allowing contract crews to reopen SR 25 three days ahead of schedule.

TDOT suspends road construction for Memorial Day travelers

AAA estimates 34.8 million people will travel more than 50 miles this Memorial Day holiday, reflecting a slight nationwide decrease from 2012. Of this number, AAA predicts nine out of ten travelers, or 89%, will travel by car. In Tennessee, AAA projects 640,150 will travel by automobile and 55,759 by air.

Clarsville Transit System considers ending trip transfers

The way it works is, when a rider boards a bus, they pay the regular fare which gets them to the CTS Transfer Point. By buying a transfer, which costs less than half the full fare price, that rider can then board a second bus to complete his/her journey to their final desired destination.

APSU honors military graduates with special APSU Militray Coin

As part of the Spring 2013 Military and Veteran Graduate Recognition Ceremony, each student received one of the University’s special military coins. About 20 percent of APSU students have a military connection, and the coin, designed by the APSU Office of Public Relations and Marketing, was created to honor those individuals.

Mayor McMillan releases Fiscal 2013-2014 City Budget

She also noted that the budget will be available to residents on the city's website for downloading.
